College team apparel is the best way to show your support for your school, regardless of the sport. Years ago, when I was in college, if you some sports apparel you were limited to mainly football and basketball jerseys, and if your school’s team wasn’t particularly competitive in either sport, you probably had to do with a generic t-shirt with the school logo.

Today, however, it is a much different story. With the tremendous exposure of collegiate athletics on national television no longer being limited to football bowl games, team apparel is available from most major sports, including (men’s & women’s) college basketball shorts and jerseys, baseball jerseys, running shorts and tank tops, and soccer jerseys, to name a few. Naturally, if your favorite college (or Alma mater) happens to be known for a single sport then you’ll probably have more options for that particular type of apparel than a school that’s good (or bad) in all sports.

Regardless of your favorite sport, or if your school is a National Champion or an also-ran, wearing your college team apparel shows that you believe in, and support your school’s athletes if for no other reason than the fact that they represent your college, and try their best. Considering the years of training and practice it takes to be a collegiate athlete, the least we can do is cheer them on while wearing our school colors. Go Team!
